GPF CAPITAL HAS ACQUIRED A MAJORITY STAKE OF ENVASADO XIOMARA AND QUIMI ROMAR TO CREATE THE SPANISH LEADER IN AEROSOLS
Emmergia CDI Global (www.emmergia.com) has advised aerosol specialist, Envasado Xiomara in the partial sale and subsequent capital raise by which GPF has acquired a majority stake in the company. In the same transaction, GPF has acquired Quimi Romar, a Spanish personal and home care group with €60 million sales which was previously owned by private equity Realza (since 2012).
This deal will allow GPF to create a leading group in the personal and home care sectors, with a production capacity of 223 million units and a portfolio of over 2.500 products. The total combined sales are €85 million with exports of 50%. They operate in facilities located in Valencia, Toledo and Madrid, occupying a total of 60.000 square meters.
Envasado Xiomara S.L. is a leading manufacturer of aerosols for third parties and its own brands. Based in Yeles (Toledo), the company is led by Pablo Rodríguez, Pablo Gaya and Francisco Collado and exports 50% of its sales.
