El sector de la construcción se caracteriza por su dinamismo, la enorme diversidad de proyectos y agentes que operan en el mismo, su carácter cíclico y su atomización. Pero además es un negocio muy intensivo en capital y de márgenes ajustados por lo que se trata de un sector muy activo en operaciones corporativas.

Tras los años de la profunda crisis 2007/2014, el sector recuperó en 2015 la senda de crecimiento, apoyado inicialmente en la rehabilitación y edificación, y, aunque a tasas moderadas, últimamente también en la obra civil.

Mark Ledger-Beadell – en

Mark has over twenty years’ experience in managing company sales, management buyouts, private equity transactions, acquisitions and IPOs.

He was one of the founding partners of Meta Corporate Finance (the UK affiliate of CDI Global) in 1999. Mark has a degree in Chemical Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He was one of the original members of KPMG’s M&A practice in London where he worked on the first takeover of a public company by an accountancy firm and has completed a number of high profile acquisitions, for example Gilette’s acquisition of Parker Pen.


Mark has significant international transactional experience having worked on transactions throughout Europe and the United States, as well as a reputation for tenacity and focus on getting transactions complete.


Nick De Vaney – en

Thierry Gibert – en

Thierry Gibert, a member of CDI Global, is based in Paris, France.

Thierry specializes in cross border transactions involving French, German, Italian and German speaking companies in various industrial and services sectors including financial services, facilities management, beverages, cosmetics and chemicals, plastic molding, health, industrial and business services (engineering, electrical contracting, training, consulting), fashion and luxury, etc.


He holds an engineering degree from ECOLE CENTRALE DE PARIS and a master degree in ocean engineering from Florida Atlantic University, USA.
He has been with CDI Global for over 10 years and worked with the Austrian bank ERSTE Bank. Prior to this he was a management and turnaround consultant in France, Poland and the USA.


He is the non-executive President of Centrale Recherche S.A. (research contracts, continuing education, equity investment in start-up companies) and Member of the Strategic Committee of Exotest (a company specialized in testing). He was a Member of the Supervisory Board of Mandriva S.A (a listed open source software company).


His nationality is French; his language skills include French, English, German and Italian.
