El aumento de las inversiones en tierras cultivables en todo el mundo combinado con inversiones de fondos de private equity y el incremento del número de operaciones de M&A requieren un seguimiento global del sector de la agricultura y alimentación.

Daniel Boutmy is a CDI Global Affiliate based in Montevideo. His business operates throughout Uruguay and surrounding Southern Cone countries, including Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay as well as Brazil.
Mr. Boutmy has worked in the Financial Industry for 22 years. He served 12 years with Citigroup in their Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance divisions managing relationships with multinational and regional banking clients. In this role, Daniel travelled throughout lower South America structuring loans, handling foreign trade and providing cash management solutions.
In 2008, he joined a European Financial Group focused primarily on Private Banking services with the title of Senior Financial Advisor. This role facilitated the development of a broad sell-side and buy-side client network throughout the Southern Cone. Daniel has significant expertise in M&A transactions, debt restructuring and consulting, with an emphasis in the Agribusiness, Food, Finance and Biotech sectors.
Daniel holds an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a Postgraduate in Finance at ORT University and an MBA from IEEM-Universidad de Montevideo an affiliate of IESE-Universidad de Navarra, Spain.

Jay has undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science from University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specializations in Global Business and Finance. He has done extensive business development and consulting work in the Americas, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Asia. He has worked for both private clients and international organizations.
Jay is an international agricultural entrepreneur involved in various levels of food value chain management and farming businesses for 40 years. After growing up on a family beef cattle and crop farm in Minnesota, he worked in an agricultural investment firm in Kansas City, developed a soybean and cattle farm in Paraguay, started a fruit company and introduced McDonald’s Restaurants to Chile, developed and currently oversees ranching and vegetable and seed crop farms in Argentina and created and managed real estate, construction and cattle operations in Costa Rica. This provided him with a wealth of experiences from acquiring land, starting up companies, executing projects, managing small and large companies, conducting strategic planning, vetting/initiating new business ventures, developing teams, fostering/nurturing relationships, managing operations, human resources and penetrating markets with agricultural commodities including risk management and buying/selling companies. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Martín Arocena is a CDI Global Affiliate based in Montevideo, Uruguay. He focuses on the Southern Cone countries, including Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay.
Mr. Arocena has worked for more than 15 years as a CFO for both local and multinational corporations within the sectors of Finance, Industrial Engineering and IT – Software & Services.
He has a proven track record of providing financial expertise and organizational advice to various stakeholders throughout the Southern Cone. Martín played a key role in managing business relations with international customers, including performing financial analysis on various projects spanning the globe.
Martín sits on the board of several companies due to his extensive experience in M&A transactions throughout the Southern Cone, including significant contributions to the formation of an international IT joint venture company in 2005.
Martín holds the Chartered Public Accountant designation, earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management at ORT University and has completed multiple Finance, Taxes and Business executive programs.

Mischa Perrenoud es Socio Global de CDI con sede en Suiza.
Antes de unirse a CDI Global, trabajó más de 6 años en varios posiciones para el líder global Agchem, Syngenta. Mischa dirigió varias transacciones internacionales en el sector de Semillas y Cultivos de protección y más tarde fue responsable del negocio global desde una perspectiva financiera estratégica.
Anteriormente, trabajó varios años como especialista en fusiones y adquisiciones con Swisscom y como Consultor Senior con TCFG.
Mischa comenzó su carrera trabajando para un fondo de capital privado y Credit Suisse First Boston. Durante su carrera, Mischa adquirió una amplia experiencia en de compra y venta de operaciones, sucesiones empresariales, valoraciones, negociaciones y dirección / ejecución de proyectos.
